Hi! I'm Alana and I'm currently a student at Yale University in Computing and the Arts. I am originally from Sandy, Utah. I've loved art ever since I was a kid and have been taking classes since 5th grade! Although I am still growing and experimenting as an artist, a lot of my personal art aims to explore the human condition. My interactions with the people around me, observations of daily life, and individual fears and insecurities are what inspire me.

Many of my works are about personal space and the tensions that exist between finding comfort and investigating the unknown. More recently I'm interested in how our relationship with technology and media can reveal what it means to be human.
